The Power of Visualization

The Power of Visualization

Visualization is often used by world class athletes to help with their performances. When interviewed, many of them contribute their success to the visualization techniques they used prior to competition. Visualization is also used by physicians to assist patients with healing their bodies.

Visualize what you want!

There’s big controversy about visualization and whether or not it really works. But, if visualization can help athletes, patients, and inventors, why can’t it work for the rest of us?

It can.

So, how do we put visualization to use? There are many different programs that can help you with a plan to achieve what you want out of life, and all of these programs can be summed up into a basic formula. Figure out what you want, create a plan for its obtainment, focus all your efforts on that plan, feel the feelings as if you already accomplished it and don’t stop until you get what you’ve seen in your imagination.

The reason most of us fail to get what we want or achieve the success we’ve dreamed of is because we lose site of what we want, have our dreams crushed by other people, or give up the long term goal for the pleasures of right now.

That’s the difference between a gold medal winner and everyone else.

Winners see what others can't!

Do you want a better life than what you have right now?

Start by taking action today, and don’t wait for tomorrow.

Start Strong, Finish Stronger!

3 Months In to 2010

We are a quarter into 2010 and pretty soon summer will be in full swing.  After that there will only be 6 months left in the year.

Time flies when you’re having fun!

How are you doing with regards to the goals you set at the beginning of the year?  Or maybe you’re in the middle of goals you started last year.

Are you on track?

Focus on the end result!

Are you looking at gauges to see where you can make things better?

It’s very easy to get side tracked with everyday life, politics, work, etc.

But stay focused, stay the course. It will be worth it.

We are definitely a society of “want it” gotta “have it” now! But, many things take time.

Weight loss and fitness goals are no different.

If you haven’t already, set some goals to get your fitness and nutrition on track. If you’re in the middle of your goal, keep going.  At the very least, small changes to your daily activities can produce significant changes and results down the road.

Distractions will come up and it will always be easy to make excuses and start tomorrow.  But tomorrow never comes.

All we have is today!

It’s the laser guide focus, disciplined, strong willed people that will accomplish what they started.

The Power of Focus

I believe and have faith in you.

I believe that if you imagined accomplishing a goal, you have what it takes to get there or you never would have had the thought.

Take some time, reflect on what you’ve started or want to get started. Create a start and an end date.  Work backwards from the end date to today and add steps to complete it.

This is the beginning.  As you work towards the goal and time passes you will make corrections and fix aspects of the goal process to streamline and make it work better for you.
